![]() ![]() I can't vault over cover, can't issue capturing orders over minimap, there's no True Sight and weather mechanics, only 3 doctrines of which I'm using the same 2, I don't feel any urge to play with the allies, and overall it doesn't look and feels so impressive like its used to. Vehicles are feeling like toys in CoH1 now, I can't use reverse button in there (because it doesn't have one) to move my tanks backwards, so I have to click one 0.00001 cm behind them to not turn their backside to the danger. If you don't abandon CoH2 after couple of hours of gameplay, and get used to its new mechanics, then you won't back easily to COH1. After 7-8 years of playing CoH1 its hard to move to CoH2. Its like a curse, you just can't play both games. Since you didn't played CoH games yet you don't have to get used to the new stuff from the sequel. Or you can buy CoH2 right away, its can also be bought for relativelly cheap when it goes on sale. It won't be bad to get familiar with the series by starting from the beginning. Since its so old, you can buy CoH1 anywhere on sales for next to nothing, so its not hard to recommend it. so maybe there are some honest coh verterans out there who can help me ) The reason i am asking you guys is that after the release of rome 2 i dont trust game reviews anymore. ![]() and if some people really do, the waiting time for a match would be endless for sure. ![]() The question is if anybody plays multiplayer in an 8 year old game. and since the release was 2006 there shouldnt be any more balancing problems^^ (and it is a lot cheaper) but i read about balancing issues and pay to win commanders and it frightens me a little ) so how does the game really perform?Ĭoh 1 on the other side seems to be pretty nice because i like the western front scenario a little more than cold russia ) :P and i read that it would be a little more tactical than the new part and not as "fast"/action packed. therefore coh 2 seems to be the better choice because it is new. If i buy the game i want to focus on the multiplayer. i read some reviews and visited metacritics (horrible ranking?!) but i still dont know what to do. i thought about buying one of the two coh games. ![]()
